School Crossing Supervisors needed

Whitehorse Council has asked us to let members know that there is a short-term opportunity for a School Crossing Supervisor or a more ongoing role if individuals are interested.

The role of Supervisors is to assist in providing a safe effective means for school-aged children and other pedestrians to cross the road at established school crossings and traffic lights within the Whitehorse municipality.

Crossing Supervisors may work up to 7.5 hours per week and must be able to obtain a successful Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check. The majority of the costs associated with these checks will be borne by Council.

Candidates must be double vaccinated to be considered and preferably available to work Monday to Friday mornings and afternoons.

If you are interested, please include a letter with your contact details and the contact numbers of three referees. Further information is available from Lee Paris on 9262 6064
