U3A Nunawading to remain closed

In response to today’s Victorian Government announcement regarding the Covid-19 restrictions to come into effect 11.59pm Thursday 10 June, U3A Nunawading will remain closed up to and including Friday 18 June.

If restrictions are lifted at the end of next week, U3A Nunawading will open on Monday 21 June.

We understand how disappointing this is for so many of our members and, in response, we are currently in negotiations with Hub management to see if we can run some classes during our upcoming term break, if Class Leaders are available. We will let you know before the end of Term 2 (Friday 25 June) if we will be operating in some reduced way during the break.

There was a good response to our invitation to join our private Facebook group in our last communication, so if you are interested but have not yet joined, here is the link https://www.facebook.com/groups/615090622678351/

You can also find helpful information on our website about Getting started with Facebook https://u3anunawading.com.au/learning-online/getting-started-with-facebook/

In the meantime, we look forward to welcoming you back to classes as soon as we can.
