Recommencement of Classes

Following the latest easing of COVID-19 restrictions, a limited number of classes will recommence at the Nunawading Community Hub on Monday 8 November.

If your class is to recommence face-to-face at the Hub, you will be notified prior to 8 November. Please do not attend in person unless you have been advised to do so.

When attending the Hub you must abide by the Rules set out in our COVID-19 Duty of Care Statement.

Members who attend classes at other venues will be advised if and when those classes will recommence and under what restrictions.

Most classes being held on Zoom will continue to the end of Term 4.

Face-to-face classes

With the end of Melbourne’s lockdown on 21 October, we hope to recommence a limited number of face-to-face classes at the Nunawading Community Hub before the end of Term 4.

Members will be advised as soon as Whitehorse Council has confirmed that classes can recommence at the Hub and under what restrictions.

Classes being held on Zoom will continue to the end of Term 4.

Suspension of face-to-face classes extended

As a result of the Victorian Government announcement on 1 September that the current lockdown is to be extended beyond the end of Term 3, there will be no face-to-face classes until further notice.

As soon as the lockdown has been lifted and we know what the restrictions will be members will be advised if their class can recommence.

Classes being held on Zoom will proceed as scheduled.

Check-in at the Hub

COVID-19 contact tracing requires us all to check-in whenever we are in the Hub.

If we all use the Victorian Government online app to check-in, we can allow greater numbers of members in each class. The alternatives mean we would have to halve these numbers!
So, before you come the first time, please download the app onto your smartphone …
